JASON TAYLOR
JR VARSITY HEAD COACH
Coach Taylor continues to be a great asset to the Bartlett High Baseball program.
He is currently in his 5th season as a coach for Bartlett High School.
He and his wife LaShona are both teachers at
Elmore Park Middle School.
LaShona is also the Sponsor for the Bartlett High School Diamond Girls.

In 2007 coach Taylor led our JV team to it's 2nd Regional Championship with an
unbelievable record of 33 - 2.

In 2008 coach Taylor  led our JV team to it's 3rd consecutive Regional
Championship  with a season record of 30 - 5

Coach Taylor attended Skyview Academy and graduated from Bolton High
School in 1992.  He was a 3 year letterman in baseball and a 2 year letterman in
football.
After finishing high school he attended the
University of Tennessee  and the
University of West
Florida. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in
Physical Education.

Coach Taylor was a baseball and football coach for Washington High School in
Pensacola, Florida.  He was also a football coach for Catholic High School in
Pensacola. Coach Taylor coached in Florida for 6 years before moving back to
Memphis and joining the staff at Bartlett.

Coach Taylor, along with the assistance of Coach Holt , has the difficult
challenge of converting new freshman ball players  to the varsity baseball level.
Coach Taylor is highly respected and Bartlett is very fortunate to have him as
their coach.
